Deconstructing an article
An article is based on some written or imagined Outline.
Deconstructing an article is about looking for that outline within the Text provided.
Collating information
Collating information is about Collecting information from different sources and then arranging the information into an order so that similar information is grouped together.
Writing about the Collated information
Once you have all the information gathered, you have to decide what your FOCUS will be in writing. What is the main idea that you want people to notice. What is the emphasis of your writing.
Then you have to arrange your outline so that it will serve your purpose. See Last Box left column.
