Intellectual

We study together!  Our dining room frequently turns into a study room.

Two sisters, Brittany Murty & Kelly Okapal, while studying abroad in Europe. Many of our members choose to study abroad during their time at Kettering.

Intellectual development is important to us - not only as members of Alpha Sigma Alpha, but also as future leaders in engineering, science, and management.  ASA offers an excellent support network to grow intellectually.  Here are some of the ways our members grow intellectually:

  • Studying together to maximize academic achievement

  • Going to plays and concerts together to enhance our appreciation of the arts

  • Going to the Flint Institute of Art - It's right around the corner from our house!

  • Participating in school organizations such as Society of Women Engineers, Kettering Student Government, Great Minds That Entertain (the school play club), The Technician (our very own Amber Trickett pens the infamous "Ask Amber"), and various other organizations that stimulate our intellect.

  • Many members study abroad together, offering each other support as they learn about a different culture.
