The idea of having this forum springs from a concept that was first published by 'Academic Radiology'  in which one-page essays were being written by  Prof. Melvyn Schreiber, Emeritus Professor of Radiology, UTMB,  at Galveston, Texas. A collection of these essays has been published in the form of a wonderful book "Old Dog, New Tricks" and is available in the Department of Radiology Library. The second collection is called "Cabbages and Kings"

On these pages on our intranet, we will feature contributions on topics of general interest  - preferably written in a light, inoffensive style from senior faculty  (actually, any one who wishes to can contribute). If found suitable, they will be published on these pages.
