PowerPC vs. Intel Core Duo

Old vs. New

Is M for Motorola on Microsoft side for the Mac?

MMM=3000 have it but: Mac, Microsoft, Motorola

MMI=2001 don't have it: Mac, Mac, Intel.  2001 is code for their business downfall since Year of Snake is a good time to start a business.

O.k. grasshopper tell me a secret.  What software can run Windows on Mac and Mac on Windows?

I read from XBOX-SCENE that;

PowerPC-based Mac can use VirtualPC (owned by Microsoft) run Windows.  Assuming this is just emulation, it can run Mac OS X Tiger v10.4.6 too.

Intel-based Mac (known Intel Core Duo) run Mac OX X Tiger v10.4.6.  Then with Apple - Boot Camp, then run Windows XP Service Pack 2, Home or Pro.

Note that VirtualPC 2007 will have support for Windows Vista. VirtualPC is FREE!  PowerPC-based Mac will have a slight advantage over Intel-based Mac because Intel-based Mac doesn't support Windows Vista.  Until Mac OS X Tiger v10.4.6 comes with a later version of Windows Vista support, some users will be out of luck.

What was Apple thinking.  I guess I'm old die hard Motorola Fan and ex-Motorolan employee.

Update: 2007-02-09

Isn't ironic that some Apple programs won't run at Windows Vista at all even says PC Advisor.  It's a good thing I still have my PowerPC.  Even Microsoft is helping out Apple thanks to the VirtualPC!  It was a bad move by Apple to stop making PowerPCs.
