In July 2008 we circulated the Bloomsbury Survey of Web Use
across the Bloomsbury colleges to students, teachers, administrators
and researchers, to gather research on how technologies were being used
for educational purposes. In just over two months we received a high
number of responses from the following six colleges; RVC, SOAS, LIDC,
SoP, IOE and BBK, receiving a variety of results from all age groups
and roles within the institutions.
The survey was placed on the web tool SurveyMonkey, which allowed everyone to fill in the survey electronically. To view the Survey Report please click here or you can view the PDF version in the attachment below. From the data collected we also created three personas to represent the different user types within the Bloomsbury colleges; Jim Spears, Patricia Connely and Sally Chamberlain.
