A Franklin High School history teacher by day and rock star by night, Jessi Fanuele released her debut studio album, 10:17, May 2008 with Sound in the Hall Records.

Jessi plays with a passion that extends through her unique guitar rhythms and vocals to open her audience to the ideas of love, hate, beauty, distrust, strength, and bliss, which emanate through her original lyrics and music.  Matt Putnam, Massachusetts singer/songwriter and host of Paddy Barry's open mic, says of Jessi: "The word 'dynamic' just isn't enough to describe Jessi.  She has a powerhouse voice, plays killer guitar, and her enthusiasm is contagious."

Currently 'Surrender', 'Carry Nothing', and 'Free at Last' are being played on Indie 104~iRadio LA and at www.iradiola.com.  Jessi was also a feature artist during iRadio LA's Indie Talk web interview with Sound in the Hall Records, an Independent record company run out of Franklin High School.  This is one of the only student directed record companies in the country.

Jessi Fanuele's song 'Surrender' has received Honorable mention in the 15th Billboard World Song Contest.  Her song qualified for a top 500 finish.  Only the highest quality songs make it to the top.  This honor demonstrates the talent and dedication it takes to write a "hit song".

Jessi's songs 'When is When Enough' and 'Mother Nature' has been added into the rotation on the Local MusiCafe show which is broadcasted on the air and webcast Sundays at 8pm EST on Martha's Vineyard Internet Radio.  The Local MusiCafe is a great resource for artists looking for exposure.  'Free at Last', 'Mother Nature', 'Trepidaion', and 'When is When Enough' have been added to Sunday Nights Homegrown Radio Show on WPXC-PIXY 103, "Cape Cod's Rock".  It is the longest running local music show of its kind in the Massachusetts and Southeastern New England area.  Jessi is in rotation on WMWM at Salem State College, her song 'When is When Enough' has been added to Live365 Internet Radion - Women of Substance, and her most recent interview can be heard on Live365 Internet Radion - just search for Sound in the Hall Radio.

For the last four years, Jessi has been a member of tooSTUPIDtoBLINK, a cover/orginal acoustic guitar duo, with Jake Sauer.  Together they have gigged at various venues in the Greater Boston area including Cantab Lounge, Sky Bar, All Asia, Kirkland Cafe, Jo's Nautical, and Paddy Barry's. As a solo artist Jessi has played at the Oasis Coffeehouse, Gallery 218, Cantab Lounge, the Harp in Boston for the Boston Music Festival 2008, and various open mic sessions in the greater Boston area.

Most recently, Jessi wrote and recorded the song 'You and Me' for the marriage of her friends Sascha and Mark. Jessi hopes that this song will serve as the beginning of her second album.
