RationaleThe reflective journal is your opportunity to make connections between your class experiences and what it means to you, your career, your learning and your future. I hope you will take the time (1) to identify the personal relevance of the health information profession, and (2) to develop your understanding of this work.
Expectations- No two reflective journals will look the same, as this is a personal exercise. There is no "fixed" template.
- You will submit a "journal" that may be text, visual, audio, video, electronic or handwritten. Use the medium with which you are comfortable.
- In your "journal", record or create something that demonstrates your thoughts and understanding of the class experiences and what it means to you, your career, your learning and your future. Class experiences include lectures, small group activities, readings, personal research, field study work ... anything that you did in relation to INLS 705.
- For inspiration, you may consider or respond to the class objectives in the Syllabus.
- Please examine experiences for at least 25% of the class session topics (as listed in Class sessions).
- As a submitted assignment, please moderate how "personal" you wish to make this project. Exclude sensitive content that you do not feel comfortable showing your instructor.
- This can be a difficult exercise to begin. Please see instructor after class for input or advice on getting started.
