We had a visit from Cathy Twist who sat in our debate about who should represent the children. When the children were thinking of voting, all the girls wanted to vote for the girls and all the boys wanted to vote for the boys. So we decided to have a debate to see if this was the best way. The results are on the display in the classroom.

 

Some of children changed their minds but most still wanted to vote for their own gender.
