The Children’s Traffic Club is a road safety programme for children aged from 3 to 4 and a half years and their parents or carers and is completely free of charge! It consists of a series of six exciting, colourful and fun-packed activity books for you and your child to read together. All the stories and activities contain road safety messages presented in an attractive, accessible way. The books contain stickers of the balloon characters who are used to reinforce the road safety messages.
Sustrans promotes and designs traffic-free routes for cyclists and walkers all over the UK. Sustrans stands for Sustainable Transport: methods of transport which do no damage to the environment. More and more schools are joining their Safe Routes to School project. On the website you can read how young people are involved in this project.
