Due November 18th: 1-3 complex sentences

Students should write 1-3 complex sentences into their script using the key grammatical words handed out in class today (see attached). Students may be reworking sentences from their draft script, or they may be adding new sentences to their script.

Due November 17th: Rough rough draft of script

For November 17th, students should expand on their first sentences to write a complete draft of their section of the script.

On Monday, students will be editing the script and going over questions they have. It is assumed that students will run into a number of roadblocks as they work on the scripts (missing vocabulary, grammar questions, etc.). Students may use our class resources to help them, but they may still be stuck -- in that case, they should write down questions and leave bracketed words and phrases in English where they get stuck. Under no circumstances should students resort to using an online translator (this is cheating).

Due 14-Nov: 5 sentences of script

For Friday, Nov 14th, students need to write 5 sentences of their script for their puppet show. Student groups have determined which sections will be written by which students. Students should strive to keep their sentences simple and use our simple, common vocabulary wherever possible (students should have out their list of the top 34 verbs as they work on this).

Vocabulary List: Top 17 Verbs

You will be studying the top 17 verbs in Spanish -- most of these verbs should be review, but some might not be.

You should complete the self-quiz on these verbs by Friday, October 17th.
