Born in 2002, DC-ICE is nurtured by an Olympic speedskater and several determined parents working in collaboration with the non-profit Fort Dupont Ice Arena (FDIA) and other organizations in Washington, DC. Established as an urban skating club, DC-ICE now operates multiple year-round programs and events for youth and families, including seasonal I.C.E. Camps, out-of-school-time I.C.E. Academy, and annual ICE-a-thon. DC-ICE continues to grow: 2010 marks the birth of after-school I.C.E. Skating, DC's inaugural Roll-a-thon and the non-profit I.C.E. Foundation. Inquiries: |
