Participants should plan to arrive on Sunday, July 5. Participants will enjoy the convenience of living on campus in one of our newly renovated residence halls at a cost of $1,391.04. You may take a virtual tour of the Willkie Residence Hall at http://www.rps.indiana.edu/se_willkie.cfml. The cost of housing will be deducted from the participants stipend. Please note this amount does not include the cost of accommodations for the off site excursions.
Since all residence halls and dining facilities on campus accept cash, debit, and credit, participants have the flexibility to dine on campus or off campus, in one of the many ethnic restaurants, ranging from Burmese to Tibetan, that are within walking distance of Ballantine Hall and the Lilly Library.
Participants sometimes bring their families or partners with them to summer institutes. Participants will be responsible for arranging housing for their families or partners. The NEH neither encourages nor discourages this; I would like to point out that our budget unfortunately does not allow us to include such guests in program events, including the field trips.
