It is so much easier to navigate through life if we understand how to read our unique road map. Unfortunately, no one told us that reading it takes knowledge of another language. (That's the real SECRET) You can't read it with our generic cultural mindset.

 

On the Road of Life, doesn't it make sense to stop, and ask for a map and for directions if you don't know where you're headed? Or if you thought you knew where you were headed and now find that you're lost? Or just to hone a language you already work with?

As you seek a deeper, more responsible life-style, you need to understand the language of meaning, so you can make wise, conscious choices that enhance your life. The language of meaning is the language of the Soul. It is the language of Wisdom.

Wisdom speaks to us in the language of images, metaphors, poetry and feelings. It comes to us through the images of the Collective Unconscious, the archetypal basis of how we humans work. (Imagine an instruction manual.)

It is the language of myth that Joseph Campbell and Carl Jung explored and taught. It is the language of Dreams, which we all share in. It is the language of spirit, since our religions are built around symbols, especially symbolic stories, as well as prophetic dreams & religious visions. It is the language of the right side of the brain, which deals with synthesis and integration. It is our native language, the one all humans share – the language of images.

It is the way soul and our deeper, feeling life speak to our conscious ego. To be a whole person, we have to learn how the soul communicates with our conscious mind, and then we have to have a dialog with it so we find the best answers to our life's questions. If we can't understand this language, we can't access the information that the soul's wisdom provides to guide our lives. This is a problem that our Western mind needs to solve if we want to live as mature, conscientious and conscious human beings.

What is this hole within us that has a core of emptiness, loneliness and isolation? Why do we most often discover it at midlife?

Midlife is the time when we finally look at our lives and say ‘Enough!’ It is the time when we start looking at what’s missing from our lives.

When we do, we realize that we have buried an important part of ourselves in that hole. What we don’t know is that hole can become a source of wholeness for us.

15 million women, ages 37-60, are in the midst of ‘a midlife crisis’, going through major life transitions – illness, depression, dissatisfaction with work, empty nests, divorce, lack of meaning in their lives. They have come to a fork in their life’s road. Consciously faced, the midlife crisis can be a renewal. Instead of a midlife meltdown, it is meant to be the path to Individuation.

Cathy will discuss the astrological indicators of midlife, and through storytelling, dreams, movement and visualizations, take you on a journey to your center to find the soul you left behind as a child. Working with alchemical transformation visualizations, we will work with the imagination to transform this lost image of yourself and integrate it back into consciousness, so you can begin to feel whole again.

Who am I?  What is my purpose here on Earth?

This workshop will help you begin to answer these questions.

With the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction coming upon us fast on December 11th, at 28+ Sagittarius, we need to prepare ourselves for the cosmic instructions coming through the lens of Pluto and Jupiter from the Galactic Center.  

What can Pluto and Jupiter in Sagittarius tell us about our lives and our purpose?  The last time this powerful and auspicious conjunction occurred at this same degree was in November 1023 C.E.!  People then expected the 2nd Coming of Christ.   They had the same millennial expectations that many of us are feeling now about December 2012.  

Something new is upon us!   And it is reflected in the Great Above.  “As Above, so Below” is an excellent statement of what happens when Jupiter, the optimistic, ever expansive god-force of the Above meets up with his deep, dark brother Pluto, Lord of the Below.  “Great wealth, regenerative power and an ability to produce, manifest and hypnotize often accompany this conjunction.”
