Heartfelt Mahalo to our Sponsors

posted ‎‎Oct 28, 2008 2:46 PM‎‎ by SoulHawaii Networks   [ updated ‎‎Oct 28, 2008 2:58 PM‎‎ ]

We are most thankful to all of you; our corporate sponsors,
prize donors, and volunteers that supported our first joint benefit fundraiser.
We recognize that every year donation requests come from many organizations to businesses like yours.
This was the reason why Independent Living Waipahu, Inc.
and Hawaii Fi-Do decided to team up and join together in this fundraising event and future events.
For every one dollar you gave, it benefitted two organizations
that help to provide services
for Hawaii’s disability community.
We hope you enjoyed the event and we plan to make it even better next time.

ILW, Inc. and Hawaii FI-DO will host its first benefit Golf Tournament on Oct. 17, 2008 at the Hawaii Prince Golf Course in Ewa Beach.

We are asking for your participation which will go a long way towards helping the people who live in this innovative housing project and who are in need of a trained and certified dog. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to provide support for these unique programs. All proceeds from this event will go directly to maintain and foster project development and continuation.

Both non profits are small 501(c)3 agencies that have been providing services in Hawaii since 2000. Neither agency is State of Federal funded and rely heavily on donations and volunteers.
