 Each week one child from our class is chosen to be the Super Star. Super Stars are asked to bring to school ten special photographs from home to share with the class. These pictures help to tell your child’s life story. Pictures included may be of family members, pets, special events, favorite activities, etc. After you child tells the class about their pictures, they will be displayed next to a life-sized figure portrait painted by your child. One of the special privileges of the Super Star is that he/she is able to bring our class mascot Curious George, home for the week. Have fun with George and please remember to bring him back to school along with his backpack full of fun activities by Thursday! While George is living with you for the week, please complete two of the following activities found inside of the Curious George backpack: 1. Follow the recipe to make the Curious George Banana Bread. 2. Read at least one Curious George story out of The Complete Adventures of Curious George book. 3. Assemble the Curious George Puzzle. 4. Color at least one of the Curious George coloring pages. 5. Write/Draw about one fun adventure that you had with Curious George while he has been living with you in his special journal. 6. Use the disposable camera to take 2 pictures of you and George together. |
