Electricity Bug

Kids are having fun with D-cells, wires, and lightbulbs.  We'll be making motors run, learn about conductors and insulators, and get to make electomagnets.

Don't be surprised if your little one is out in the yard digging for pill bugs.  We are conducting an experiment on preferred environments with plants and animals.  They have gotten very into darkling beetles and pill bugs.  These bugs don't jump, run, bite, or sting.  Enjoy, MA

We've started a new science unit with terrariums to learn organism tolerance!
I've challenged the class to try some planting at home, so don't be surprised if they ask you to buy some seeds from the grocery store.

Super Field Trip to La Purisima Friday, November 14th

Drivers and chaperones needed for our trip to La Purisima Mission.  Note that the school is on early dismissal that day, but we will be getting back close to 3:00.  Kids will need to be prepared for any weather and have a lunch.

Lunch Time Sports

Lunch time sports have started with kids signed up to play the game of Ultimate.  We are playing with a ball instead of a frisbee. This is a fun game that highlights sportsmanship and cooperation.  We play games on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
