In the 2009 season, the band broke their all-time high TOB score set in 2008, reaching 86.5 and won the Chapter 1 Championship.
In 2008, the band placed first in all eight competitions it participated in, broke their prior all-time TOB high score of 80.85 six times, and won the Chapter 1 Championship where the Marching Colonials took first place with a score of 85.6. In addition, it won the Auxiliary (Colorguard) award three times, the Percussion award five times, the Woodwind award once, and the Drum Major award three times, including two near-perfect scores.
Positions as a musician are open to 9-12 graders, and to selected 8th graders who have been invited to join. Color Guard is open to 8-12 graders. You can sign-up at the HMS or HMHS Music Department.
