The
National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) has funded a new Western
Waters Digital Library (WWDL) project in the amount of $338,000; with
matching funds from participating institutions, the project total
funding is, $569,000. Participants include: Brigham Young University,
Colorado State University, University of California at Berkeley,
University of Utah, and Washington State University. The two year
project, entitled “Foundations of American Water Policy” began in July
2007, with a focus on the
Colorado and Columbia River Basins. The project objectives include
digitizing archival materials, creating an on-line repository of EAD
finding aids with links to the digital files.
