Exploring Google Closure

Join us for a special joint meeting with the a2div user group at SRT Solutions in Ann Arbor on November 17, 7-9pm. 

Google Closure is a new, but very polished, JavaScript library. Many of us may have read about it, but it is likely that not many of us have drilled into the details. During this session, we'll drill in and ferret out some of the interesting bits so that we can figure out how Closure compares with jQuery, Prototype, Dojo, YUI, etc.

Here is the general idea:

* Everyone decides individually which parts of Closure are most interesting to them
* They physically move together with other people that are interested in the same bits
* However they wish to do so, they start playing with those bits of Closure
* When someone spots something cool (or nasty) they mention it to the others in their area. If there's general agreement about the coolness/nastiness they mention it to the whole group

By the end of the meeting, I'm sure we will all have learned more about Closure and where it fits in.
