Welcome to the website for our special education classes at Taylors Elementary. This year we have 2 full-time resource teachers: Mrs. Crowe and Mrs. Dillard. We also have Mrs. Manley and Mrs. Hazard as the teachers in our Developmental classrooms, and Miss Neas and Miss Byars in our Emotionally Disabled primary and intermediate classrooms. 

At Taylors we are committed to serving our students in the best way in order to meet their educational needs. Therefore, we offer both inclusion and pull-out services for our students. Inclusion services means that a special education teacher will co-teach with the regular education teacher in the grade level classroom. Pull-out services means that a special education teacher will serve a small group of students in a separate classroom to target specific skills and deficits through direct instruction.

We have a diverse group of students here at Taylors. Teachers and students embrace all students and accept everyone as part of our Topcat family.
