 Established in 1933 by leaders in the veterinary profession, The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is the only exclusive companion animal veterinary association. AAHA is well known for its high standards in veterinary practices and quality pet care and promotes those standards within the veterinary profession and to the public. Only 13% of veterinary hospitals in the United States hold the “AAHA-accredited” designation. AAHA-accredited hospitals undergo rigorous evaluation every few years to ensure they are in compliance with the standards required. Greene Animal Hospital is proud to announce it's ongoing AAHA accreditation. Accredited for the first time in 1987, Greene Animal Hospital was one of the first hospitals in the Memphis area to receive accreditation. Compliance in over 1000 standards is required in order to maintain accreditation status. It is our goal to continue this partnership with AAHA for years to come!
