In the Bible's Book of Revelation, Chapter 10, John speaks of a powerful angel with a rainbow over its head. I believe this is our angel. Its greatest message is found in verses 5-7:

Then the angel I had seen (with a rainbow over its head) standing on the sea and the land raised its right hand to Heaven and swore by the One who lives forever and ever, Who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all it contains and said, "There will be no more delay! But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound the trumpet, the mystery of the Lord will be accomplished, just as God announced to God's servants the prophets."  (Quoted using inclusive language)
