A big congratulations goes to the Women's Varsity 8+ for a great row at this past weekends 45th Head of the Charles Regatta.  The girls rowed through anything but ideal conditions to finish 45th out of 74 boats in their race, in the clubs first appearance in the event!  Great job to all and thanks to all those who made the trip into Boston to support them in the cold and rain. 

Also a big congrats goes to Coach Ellen Minzner who raced once again with her Women's 8+ to an 11th place finish on Saturday.  Greater Lawrence Rowing was well represented in the world's largest two day regatta!

Thanks to all who came up to the race this weekend to support the team!  It was a very successful day for GLR, bringing home 2 medals and 2 other top 5 finishes.  Congrats to all who raced and hope everyone had fun!
