The Abe Bashara Boathouse

Located within the Riverfront State Park the Abe Bashara Boathouse is a modern facility equipped with many amenities, including locker rooms with showers, several classrooms, and an air-conditioned multi-function room with seating for 100 people. The building is surrounded by a spacious sundeck which offers an expansive view of the river and its wooded shoreline. The park offers numerous attractions including paved trails for biking and roller-blading, a playground for the kids, and shaded picnic areas.

From Rt. 93

Take Exit 45 (River Road/S. Lawrence) and head towards Lawrence. Go 1.7 miles until you see a sign for the "Lawrence Riverfront State Park." Take a left onto Eaton Street and follow signs to "The Boathouse."

From South Broadway (Rt. 28) in Lawrence

Turn west onto Andover Street (Metropolitan
Credit Union/Caesar's Pizza) and go 1/2-mile. Take right onto Eaton Street after you pass
McDonald's. Follow signs to "The Boathouse."
