On the Field Training - Saturday, March 21st On the field training will be held at the Oak Park / River Forest on Saturday March 21st. There will be 2 fields of lacrosse. Participating teams include some of the best in Illinois. .
- When: 9:00am –4:00pm Saturday March 21, 2009
Games are every hour 9am, 10am, 11am, ..break..., 1pm, 2pm, 3pm (Stadium and Lake St fields) - Cost: $0
- Description: This field training is for new officials. Dress in uniform or at minimum all black. You will observe from the sideline with commentary by an experienced official, plus you will take turns on the field "shadowing" an experienced official and possibly even blowing the whistle.
When you arrive at the school, find Craig Peterson and he will assign you to a field.

Fill out the registration form below. As the number of people sign up, please be sensitive to the time slot so we can have a relative equal number of trainees. If everyone signs up for the morning, it will be difficult to provide quality instruction.
IHSLA Referrals: The IHSLA member schools reached agreement with Great Lakes Lacrosse Officials Association (GLLOA) to provide refs for all the IHSLA games. The IHSLA referee clinic scheduled for Saturday March 21 will now be conducted by GLLOA at Oak Park River Forest High School from 8:30am - 4pm. All interested parties are requested to register below. This clinic is for new referees that are interested in officiating high school games this spring. There is no cost to attend, but lunch will no longer be provided. Saturday March 21, 2009

Classroom Training - March 7th - 8th
Training will be held on Saturday March 7th and Sunday March 8th for new officials and any other officials looking to refresh their rules and mechanics.

- Description: This meeting is primarily for new officials, but others are welcome to brush up on the rules and share experiences.
