Many of the stories we will be looking at over the summer are quite long - too long to read during worship. The story of Absalom for example stretches over six chapters! So each Sunday we will be re-telling parts of the stories and summarizing them, just as people told and shared them with each other for many centuries before printed Bibles became available. We do encourage you however to read the whole stories for yourselves during the week leading up to the Sunday we are focusing on it. So below is a schedule of readings for you to follow. (August 2nd isn't on the schedule because we're pausing the series that Sunday in order to hear from our youth about their experiences at the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans.)
