New Market Days

Celebrating the traditions, customs, and history of yesteryear, the annual festival captures the essence of Revolutionary and Civil War American life. Relive 18th and 19th century life as you encounter an authentic candle maker, blacksmith, and Horse and Carriage rides.

Treasure the wares of traditional artisans, crafters, and 30 shops throughout town. Whatever your fancy, New Market Days is a crowd-pleaser offering not only history, but the delights and flavors of vendors for the young, old, and in-between.

New Market hosts two annual events -- New Market Days and Christmas in New Market (see below). Coordinated by a staff of volunteers, these community events welcome visitors from near and far to partake in timely traditions to remember.
