Imagine running a marathon while pushing a baby stroller with winds
gusting to 40 miles per hour. That’s what Michael Wardian, age 33 of
Arlington, Virginia did to win third place
overall in the Frederick Marathon AND set a WORLD RECORD for a runner
pushing a stroller in a Marathon. His time was 2:42:21. Michael is no
stranger to the Frederick Marathon as he won first place the last two
years. This year he decided to bring his 9-month-old son along.
