 Christopher Zieman from Chapel Hill, NC won first place with a time of 2:27:14 - The 2007 Frederick Marathon winner! On May 6, 2007 a WORLD RECORD was set at the Frederick Marathon.  The 2006 winner came back to set a world record by pushing his son in the race in record time! Imagine running a marathon while pushing a baby stroller with winds gusting to 40 miles per hour. That’s what Michael Wardian, age 33 of Arlington, Virginia did to win third place overall in the Frederick Marathon AND set a WORLD RECORD for a runner pushing a stroller in a Marathon. His time was 2:42:21.
