Maurits Van Der Veen

Race Results March 30, 2003: Maurits Van Der Veen of Philadelphia, PA (photo at right), was ill prepared for the day's strong winds, cold temperatures, and whipping snow, but he managed to pull out a win at the Inaugural Frederick Marathon on Sunday. Van Der Veen's final time was 2:37:11.

Grant Salisbury of Middletown, MD, was the runner-up at 2:58:21. Becki McClintock of New Cumberland, PA, won the women's race in 3:28:25. Grant Salisbury's mother, Barry, took second in 3:34:56. Click Here to browse all results from MarathonGuide.com!
