Well at some point it might be, but I developed this whole site using the beta version of Google Apps. They allow email hosting through a customized gmail, calendars, chat, and custom page editing. The setup is super simple and the results look pretty clean.
You can also create page structures and navigation before adding the page content. Pretty cool for minutes of work.
There is an experimental section that offers custom "Gadgets" but as of yet there are none available... I'm sure that the movable type or blogger gadget is not far away.
I really wish there were already a way to make this a bloggish interface, but anyway thumbs up for google apps...

Check out Eli's work over at quietlyscheming.com all of the source for his examples are available and he is doing some stuff with Flex 2 in a few lines of code that will make your jaw drop and your brain juices start churning. Now what if I changed this and...
Not really fair since he worked on Flex, but I really think that he wants people to use this product. The examples like the in place editing controls and the interactive bubble charts seem poised to change the way we interact with data in a RIA.
