A Steampunk Tale, Adventures with the Green Fairy

   We are very excited about this year's new show: "A Steampunk Tale, Adventures with the Green Fairy"! We are delighted to be accompanied by the beautiful and highly talented Kara* and Cypris from Winston-Salem for this unique show.Watch as our intrepid adventurer travels through an absinthe inspired journey – attempting to record his increasingly blurry recollections! Expect the typical Flaming Faeries entrancing theatre with new and exciting routines and tricks—all highlighted in exquisite Steampunk fashion and musical glory! Including fire poi, staff, hoop, flaming faerie wings, fire fans, fire umbrella and a couple new surprise tools and toys.... even a Vaudeville style Flaming Cane routine!

Pirates! of North Carolina, A Fiery Tale of Rating, Pillaging and Burning

    Incorporating Fire Dance into an entertaining and educational show, this act is sure to be fun for the whole family. Along with Fire Poi and Fire Staff fire dance routines, this show also has fun historical acts, audience participation, screaming monkeys and some specialty fire props including the Fire Throwing Knife and Fire Whip.

A Trip Through the Land of the Flaming Faeries

Runtime: 35 minutes

    An archetypal little tale about a few wanderers (in this case, clubbers dancing with glow sticks) who get lost and pass out in a fairy circle. A faerie with flaming wings investigates the new arrivals and they wake up in fairyland to discover the people there dance with fire. The faeries entice the visitors to participate and learn this new and intriguing art. However, they soon discover that the trickster faeries are not ready to let them out of fairyland easily. They find that they must perform a sword dance (Scottish highland sword dance style) over flaming swords to the music of a flaming bagpiper (yes, the drones actually shoot fire), and using the flaming sword, they escape fairyland with the ability to dance with fire. This show includes additional pyrotechnic tricks, weather permitting!

TOXIC

Runtime: 30 minutes

    This Fire Theater show is targeted at a more mature audience such as dance clubs and private parties. In racier outfits, dancers perform with unusual fire props including fire umbrella, flaming swords fights and other unique props as well complex tricks with the loved standards. There's several provocative and amusing acts included in this highly choreographed performance.

The Flaming Faeries Variety Show

This is a great all around fire performance with large group formations with the Fire Staff and Fire Poi. It is our basic show consisting mainly of Fire Dance and highlighting different dancers specialties. It is also often the first show graduates of How To Play With Fire, Fire Dance Academy ever perform in.
