The SS/SH grant s will expand on already existing services within the three middle schools in the district, along with providing a much needed afterschool program.  The purpose behind these services are to implement a comprehensive approach to behavior issues at the middle schools that include universal prevention, early intervention, and intensive strategies to deal with violent behavior and/or ATOD use.  The collaborating partners providing these services will include: The City of Whittier, SPIRITT Family Services, ICGC, Exchange Club, LA CADA and the Whittier Police Department.
