Imagine if there was a way for people to know that a particular product or service had been authorized as meeting a range of 'minimum levels of acceptance' by citizens? This could be along the lines of the Rules of Engagement or similar.

Imagine if we could choose for our purchases to be trackable and have administerial access to our own information so we could choose who we would like to use it (in return for some value exchange), rather than companies monetizing our data without us knowing?
