Goal: To build skills and confidence through various fun art and craft projects as follows:
"Old Fashioned Clothes Pin People" (Sept 15, 2009). $8 for one 2 hour session, all materials included. Younger Group 5 -10 years (3:45pm to 5:45pm), Older Group 11 years and up (6pm to 8pm). Create a small doll from an old style clothes pin, using paint, cloth, etc.
"Make your own Rubber Stamp" (Sept 29, 2009). $8 for one 2 hour session, all materials included. Younger Group 4 - 8 years (3:45pm to 5:45pm), Older Group 9 years and up (6pm to 8pm). Make a rubber stamp with a fun easy method. Print cards, wrapping paper and more.
"Crazy Pillow Creatures" (October 6, 2009). $8 for one 2 hour session, all materials included. Younger Group 6 -12 years (3:45pm to 5:45pm), Older Group 13 years and up (6pm to 8pm). Create comical stuffed "creatures" from cloth , buttons, yarn and more.
"Fun with Wire" (October 13, 2009), $8 for one 2 hour session, all materials included. Younger Group 6 -12 years (3:45pm to 5:45pm), Older Group 13 years and up (6pm to 8pm). Simple wire bending techniques to create ornaments, wearable art and more using copper wire and beads.
"Polymer Clay Doll Making" (October 20 and 27, 2009). $16 for Two 2 hour sessions, all materials included. Younger Group 9 -12 years (3:45pm to 5:45pm), Older Group 13 years and up (6pm to 8pm). Make a little pose-able doll using polymer clay, wire, cloth, yarn, glue, etc.
"Clay Hand-building" (November 3, 10, 17, 24, 2009). $28 for four 2 hour session, all materials included. Younger Group 4 -11 years (3:45pm to 5:45pm), Older Group 12 years and up (6pm to 8pm). Learn basic principals of clay hand building to create sculptural and functional ceramic pieces.
"Origami" (December 1, 2009), $8 for one 2 hour session, all materials included. Younger Group 8 -12 years (3:45pm to 5:45pm), Older Group 13 years and up (6pm to 8pm). Learn the Japanese art of paper folding.
"Painting with Acrylics" (January, 2 weeks, exact dates TBA). $16 for Two 2 hour sessions, all materials included. Younger Group 6 -11 years (3:45pm to 5:45pm), Older Group 12 years and up (6pm to 8pm). Learn basic paint techniques and color theory.
"Experiments with Right Brain Drawing" (February, 3 weeks, exact dates TBA). $24 for Three 2 hour sessions, all materials included. Younger Group 10-14 years (3:45pm to 5:45pm), Older Group 15 years and up (6pm to 8pm). Learn to engage the right hemisphere of your brain while drawing.
"Fun with Mono-prints" (March, 2010, 1 week, exact dates TBA). $8 for one 2 hour session, all materials included. Younger Group 5 -11 years (3:45pm to 5:45pm), Older Group 12 years and up (6pm to 8pm). Explore this unique method of image making.
"Painting with Acrylics" (March, 2010, 2 weeks, exact dates TBA). $16 for Two 2 hour sessions, all materials included. Younger Group 6 -11 years (3:45pm to 5:45pm), Older Group 12 years and up (6pm to 8pm). Learn basic paint techniques and color theory.

"Linoleum Block Printing" (May 4 & 11, 2010). $16 for Two 2 hour sessions, all materials included. Younger Group 6 -11 years (3:45pm to 5:45pm), Older Group 12 years and up (6pm to 8pm). Carve a linoleum block and print with it.
"Mobiles, a lively balance" (May 18 & 25, 2010)$16 for Two 2 hour sessions, all materials included. Younger Group 6 -11 years (3:45pm to 5:45pm), Older Group 12 years and up (6pm to 8pm). Using a variety of materials with wire, sticks and string, create a graceful, moving, balancing act to suspend from your ceiling.
"Fun with Watercolors" (June 1, 2010). $8 for one 2 hour session, all materials included. Younger Group 5 -12 years (3:45pm to 5:45pm), Older Group 13 years and up (6pm to 8pm). Experiment with various watercolor techniques.
"Kite Making" (June 8 & 15, 2010). $16 for Two 2 hour sessions, all materials included. Younger Group 6 -11 years (3:45pm to 5:45pm), Older Group 12 years and up (6pm to 8pm). Create your own kite to fly from a variety of lightweight materials.
