| In our Presidency we have called an Assistant Secretary to serve as a "third counselor." He is responsible for a Home Teaching District and helps with various assignments. Currently, the Assistant Secretary is a recent convert, so besides spreading out responsibilities in the presidency, this calling has provided an opportunity to train a newer member of the quorum in church leadership. As you can see in the attached file we have made specific assignments in our presidency to look after the three committees and quorum instruction, as shown under "Other" for each member of the presidency. The determination for which member of the presidency looks after which area was based on the strengths of our presidency and could be different for every presidency. The use of this organization chart has helped each member of our presidency understand his specific responsibilities and allowed us to have added focus in meeting the needs of the quorum. |
