During the school year (September - May) Grace Lutheran offers a Sunday School program for youth.
This page is devoted to the STEPS Rotational Program that is for children age 3 years through 5th grade.
Other educational programs offered through Grace include a 6th, 7th & 8th grade class, a high school class, and adult education. For more information on these programs, contact the church office at 474-1505.

April 27 - May 11: Rotation #8 - Gather in Grace (Matthew 26:26-30)May 18: Sunday School Celebration -- Joint us during Fellowship Hour for conversation and refershments. A t-shirt fundraiser will be held during this time; purchase a t-shirt to support educational opportunities for all members of the congregation.
What is Grace STEPS?
Grace STEPS is a Sunday School rotational program that was implemented during the 2005-06 school year. This program provides more time for the children to learn and explore bible stories. A rotation generally lasts for four weeks. Children will attend a different learning station each week during a rotation. Learning stations include:

Movie Marvel

Amazing Art

Grace Games
Children will learn and discuss one story during each rotation and will approach the story through the learning station's theme.
Age Groups
Children are grouped by grade -- pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, & 1st grade; 2nd & 3rd grade; 4th, 5th, & 6th grade. Each age group has an adult shepherd that provides a consistent connection with the children. The youngest age group, 3 & 4 year olds, stay in the same classroom with the same teacher to learn and explore the bible stories taught during the rotations..

Children are welcome to join Grace's Sunday School program anytime during the year. Please complete a registration form and bring it with your child to class .

Rotation Leaders & Shepherds
Being a part of the Sunday School program is very rewarding and a great way to provide stewardship to the church. A rotational leader commitment is only for three weeks -- unless you want to do multiple rotations! The PARISH EDUCATION COMMITTEE is responsible for providing opportunities for Christian Education for all members; including Sunday Church School, Vacation Bible School, Bible study and all other youth and adult educational opportunities.
