Since 1960, the Edgewater Community Council (ECC) has worked closely with Block Clubs, the business community, elected officials, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, and our fellow neighbors to improve and advance the quality of life in Edgewater.

From community information forums for sharing ideas and offering important information on matters concerning Edgewater neighbors, to timely and reliable publication of activities events in our community, ECC connects our neighborhoods to achieve common good.

The Edgewater community is located between Foster Avenue (5200N) and Devon Avenue (6400N), and between Lake Michigan and Ravenswood Avenue (1800W).

Free Energy Efficiency Workshop Tuesday 29 September, 7:00pm Broadway Armory, 5917 N. Broadway Presenters will discuss steps that homeowners, condominium owners and renters can take to make their homes more comfortable while saving energy and money. Information on rebates and tax credits for energy upgrades will be distributed.
News From the 20th District Police Department: 24 Sept. from 6-8PM Multi cultural fest at the 20th District. (They are looking for performers, and Donations of Ethnic Foods), There is no charge for this event but interested persons must RSVP as they only have room for 350 people. 23, 24, Oct. 6:30-8:30PM 25 Oct. 6:00-8:00PM 20th District's Haunted House, (They are looking for volunteers to help with the haunted house, and candy donations).
