Contains/showcases artifacts of student learning, parent-family participation, and community partnerships-engagement. Promote, through this program, the overall health of the Deer Isle - Stonington school-community: Beyond the impact on students, health education must intimately overlap from the school as a family and community curriculum. The first element of the program stresses the importance and vital role that life-long learning plays in a person's "complete" health and prosperity. Health education must enable, shape, and reinforce the virtues of engagement and growth as life-long learners... for all members of our school community. The interaction within and between schools, students, parents, families, and the community shape and significantly determine the health and well-being of all members of our school-community. This space will contain "evidence" of the growth and development of this objective. |
