 Week of September 6, 2010
Welcome back everyone!! This year I will be teaching science and math for grades 5 and 6. My co-teacher is Aisha Muhammed
who will be teaching language arts and social studies.
We are going to use centers in our rooms so our students can take maximum advantage of instruction time. Students will be working on their individual achievement levels in these centers.
Every Monday (excluding holidays) your student should bring home a folder (listing all homework for the week with any missed items checked) with papers included. Please look at the work, sign the form, and return the folder with papers and missed work completed on Tuesday. The student will then put these papers back into their proper subject folders to be used to study for tests.
Please have your student bring in box tops and Sunny D labels so we can earn monies for our rooms and books.
We will be doing Future City again this year for grades 6 and 7. This will be after school after Ramadan. Day and time to be determined.
