Welcome to our New Youth Minister
Last Sunday morning at the close of the service we announced that Paul Stearns had accepted the call to be our new Youth Minister. Many of you already know Paul because he has been serving with us at Deer Run for over two years--a good part of that two years has been spent volunteering with the teens. Paul has a great love for the Lord and an enthusiasm for helping young people reach their God-given potential. And Paul won't be alone in the work. Before he left, Don had assembled an excellent team of volunteers including Philip Evans, Chris Powell, Ryan Dunnigan, Brett Mitchell, Erica Engel and Pam Ender who will continue to have a huge impact on our youth. Also, there's you. That's right, you! In order for any ministry of the church to work, everyone has to work together supporting one another in prayer and encouragement and a willingness to serve. So, if you haven't done so already, let Paul know how you can help in this ministry. God is good...very good! We are looking forward to seeing what He will do through Paul and his team.
