children ages five to ten.  Includes education on using time-outs,

gaining cooperation, handling siblings, improving school success,

and managing ADD/ADHD.

A six-week series, offered in English or Spanish, for parents facing

 behavioral challenges with their teens.

Mentor Program

A school-based mentoring program for at-risk students in grades

four through eight.  Community members (mentors) spend one hour

each week meeting with their mentee on the school campus.

School-based mental health counselors focus on the early

identification and assessment of students with learning, behavior,

substance abuse and emotional problems.

A treatment counselor provides after-school treatment groups and

 individual outpatient treatment services. The CYT Program also

offers a brief, eight-week intervention for marijuana treatment.

The Substance Use Prevention & Education Resource is a four-week

 series, offered in English or Spanish, for youth and their parents to

build family relationships, improve communication, and end teen

substance use.

Teen Court Services

A diversion program for first time juvenile offenders who commit

misdemeanor or educational code offenses.  Teen Court involves

an intake, a peer court hearing, jury duty, and community service

and also provides educational classes and counseling services.

On-campus services are provided at all secondary

schools.  Includes prevention education, sober activities, counseling,

 early identification, and referral.
