Knight Patrol

Welcome to the Cub Scout Webelos Knight Patrol Site for Cumming, GA Cub Scout Pack 62.

Den Leaders: Bill Hamilton, Chris Tiernan & Jennifer Moeck
Our Cub Scouts

Welcome to the Best Bear Den in the Pack and most likely all of the Etowah District of the North Georgia Council.  Den 2 is going into its third year and is known for a few things:

Den Participation

Other leaders may brag about their Den but I often look around at Pack functions and see which Dens do show up with more than the Den Leader’s own Cub in tow and how long they stay.  There is no comparison.  Den 2 is always represented and usually with more attendees than even the larger Dens.

Parent Participation

The parents of Den 2 are not just in the Pack but we help run and guide it.  Last year we had 2 parents on the committee but never less than 3 helping with any given function.  This year we have 3 parents on the committee.  This is not only our Den but our Pack too.

Looking Sharp

Scouting is a uniformed organization and Den 2 is known for consistently looking the part.  From the boys to the leaders, we not only have fun like a Cub Scout Den we LOOK like a Cub Scout Den.  I am always proud to take Den 2 out in the community knowing that others will see this model Cub Scout Den.  We tell this modern world that Cub Scouts are still here and going strong.

Having Fun

We really do have the most fun.  From CNN tours to mining for Gold in Dahlonega.  Our Den meetings are top notch and past activities have included Bike Rodeos, Simple Machines, Health & Safety, Campouts, Fishing and Frisbee Sledding.
