Welcome to the MDM/KDD 2008 website
The MDM/KDD workshop brings together experts in the analysis of digital media content, multimedia databases, knowledge engineers and domain experts from different applied disciplines with potential in multimedia data mining. The workshop will facilitate the cross-disciplinary exchange of ideas. The major topics of the workshop are listed here.

(March 10, 2009) The accepted papers are now available online in the ACM Digital Library.

(August 24, 2008) We had a very successful workshop! Thank you all to everyone who attended the workshop, who presented at the workshop, and who contributed your precious time and efforts in reviewing the papers and making things happened. Thank you!
- (August 15, 2008) The program schedule is out! Each paper has 20 minutes for the presentation.
- (August 1, 2008) We are glad to announce two invited talks to be held at the workshop. Our invited speakers will be Prof. Jian Pei (Simon Fraser University) and Dr. Kamal Nigam (Google Pittsburgh)!
