We are Crossings Knights!

The CCS mascot, the Knight, symbolizes important virtues. Loyalty, courtesy, and bravery embody what it means to be a Christ-centered servant leader.  Above all, the Crossings Knight must be loyal to Christ.  We embrace the talents and abilities given to us and use them to glorify Him.  This is done by putting forth our best effort and maintaining our integrity no matter what circumstance we find ourselves in.

We display courtesy by practicing good sportsmanship.  This should not be misinterpreted as playing by the rules.  Good sportsmanship means showing respect of not only the rules, but other competitors, officials, and fans as well.  We strive to win with humility, and lose with dignity.  In doing so, we show others the love of Christ.

In order to succeed in athletics, we must be brave in the face of adversity.  When the game is on the line, we will not be afraid to fail.  If an opponent is too strong, we will not quit.  In the face of physical adversity, we will be strong.  No matter how adversity shows itself, we will stand without fear knowing that our identity, as well as our strength, is in Christ.
