Our part time preschool is led by Lois Hartman, a fully-licensed teacher with 30 years of Waldorf teaching experience. It is a rhythmically structured and balanced, family-oriented atmosphere that encourages confident, creative, and joyful growth. We grind the grain to make our flour, churn our butter, mill our applesauce, and cut our vegetables for soup. We paint with watercolors, sew, wash our dishes and cloth napkins, draw, and make gifts with our own hands. Everyday we go outside and discover the beauty of nature with activities and play. 

Creative Parenting from the Heart guides parents toward gentle, loving parenting founded on a deep understanding of children's development and needs.

Our focus will be to help parents deepen their understanding of their child, as well as, their relationship to their child.  

Through humor and imaginative activity, rhymes and storytelling, developmental understanding and personal self insight each parent will find their own unique way to discover how to meet their child right where they are, instead of forcing the child to relate like an adult prematurely.  

  The parent will learn to carry the responsibility of child raising with dignity, integrity and clarity which translates into love, joy, and peace.
