Added extra pages and info

posted ‎‎Apr 30, 2008 3:45 AM‎‎ by Ashraf 486   [ updated ‎‎Apr 30, 2008 3:38 AM‎‎ by Varun D ]

Added the much needed pages dedicated to the research for each CE Bot areas (motor, communication, power supply, etc). We can update the respective pages with stuff we find over the internet as well as what we discuss in the forums.

Updated the CE Bot page with a "module" section. Maybe we are a bit more clearer what "modules" mean, unless you think differently, haha. The main module is the basis for all the different roles for the CE Bot (consists of the laptop, etc). The Locomotive module can be swapped with another module (a stationary stand that can rotate, perhaps), or use another type of wheel system or even some kinda "boat" thing so the CE Bot can traverse over water.

Oh, and I shifted CE Bot to the top level, since we dont really need a "project list" when this GS Website is dedicated to Projects anyway!

Site structure

I think the structure is prettu good rite now. I was thinking about what you said on CE Bot> Research> OS.

It might take sometime to figure out the right listing, after we finish some Goal pages and sub goal pages because we dont want too many sub sub topics. It a nice idea to put OS under research because Research Page will describe all the modules we are researching in general and why. Each page under research will corespond to a module.

Can we rename Research to Modules and see how it looks??? Ill try it, we can change it later.

Yea and please avoid the Site changes where it says "deleted"...that was a hiccup (a scary one) :) Everything is back as it was except a few old test pages (kept some).

and I will get back to creating the Research/Modules page in a while, my thesis work is hung in between and have to fin it by this week (again), had a few problems, will tell about it.

Hey folks!

Looks like we've finally got this website into shape! Hopefully we can complete most of it so we can get into the research aspect immediately :)
