Tuesday evening, during a high school basketball game at a private school in
Menlo Park, a referee collapsed with SCA. Thanks to the
Atherton police department who donated the AED and the athletic trainer who
grabbed the AED and applied it within the first minute, the patient presented
with V Fib which was successfully shocked. By the time the paramedics
arrived, the patient was breathing and regained consciousness. I am the
