Adler Mike Orchestra: Violin This is Mike’s second year with the player’s orchestra but will be his first playing the violin. He is a senior at Houghton High School and is also dual enrolled at MTU. He is a member of the HHS band and choir, as well as various other musical groups, including the Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra. In his free time he enjoys sports, scouting, and amateur film making.  
Aubin Mike Eward Dunlop (Quartet - Lead Tenor, Set Construction) One of the original Calumet Players, Mike Aubin is the lead teacher at Elm River Township School. His lengthy on-stage experience includes: Arsenic and Old Lace, Carnival, Guys and Dolls, and Annie. Mike has directed 19 shows, such as: Cinderella, Oklahoma, Little Shop of Horrors, Anything Goes, Nunsense, and Annie Get Your Gun. This is Mike's third time performing in The Music Man, and he is thrilled to be in the quartet. Mike resides in Calumet with his wife, Debbie. They have two children, Andrew and Erin. 
Barnt Kenny Orchestra: Tuba Kenny is fresh from the pit of 1776, joining the Calumet Players for the first time. He is a senior at Michigan Tech, where he is a student director of the Pep Band and principal tuba in the Superior Wind Symphony. 
Beck Sarah River City Band Member  
Bergdahl-Birondo Kiersten  Ethel Toffelmier Kiersten Birondo is a junior at Western Michigan University, majoring in vocal performance. She has performed with the Calumet Players in their productions of "My Fair Lady", "Annie Get Your Gun", and "The Sound of Music", and is very excited to be working with them again. Kiersten has also appeared in local productions of "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", "Seussical the Musical", "Playing for Time", "The Magic Flute", "Cinderella", "Hansel and Gretal", and "Pride and Prejudice". 
Brown Chris Orchestra: Trombone Chris is JUST MARRIED. Congratulations! 
Brusso Marina River City Kid  Marina is twelve years old and going into 7th grade. She is just getting started out with acting, but she thoroughly enjoys it! She has been in one play titled, " If the Shoe Fits". She played the Jester. She was in drama club last year and plans to continue with it in the seventh grade and the years to come. She is getting to know more people and is making new friends. She is getting to know how to be in a play better and is hoping to be in more plays. 
Clayton Camille River City Band Member Camille Clayton, age 11, attends Washington Middle School. She has danced with the Superior School of Dance for six years and has taken piano lessons for 4 years. Camille has performed with the Missoula Children’s Theatre and loves to be on stage! She is very excited to be in her first Calumet Players production. 
Coltman Ross Oliver Hix (Quartet - Baritone) My first show with the Players was Camelot in 2001. Other perfomances include My Fair Lady (Colonel Pickering),Anything Goes, Pajama Game, Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music (Captain Von Trapp), and Annie Get Your Gun (Frank Butler). Member of the Calumet Players Board of Directors. Teach fifth-grade at Houghton Elementary and coach girls track-and-field at Houghton High School. Enjoy softball, cross-country skiing, biking, and singing in my church choir. Live in Laurium. 
Crane Nathan River City Band Member Nathan is a student at Jeffers High School. He enjoys playing the guitar and singing. "This is my first musical, and I believe it will be a lot of fun to perform for the public. The music is fun, and there are some great one-liners as well. I hope lots of people come to see it." 
Crotty David Traveling Salesman #5 David has been in several Players' productions, including: Anything Goes, Mousetrap, The Sound of Music, Pajama Game, Annie Get Your Gun, and Anatomy of a Murder. He lives in Hubbell with his wife, Judy, and their children. 
Crotty Maureen Gracie Shinn Maureen is a fourth grade student at Lake Linden-Hubbell Elementary. This is her first speaking role with the Players, having been an understudy for the youngest von Trapp sisters in The Sound of Music. 
Crotty Ryan Winthrop Paroo, River City Band Member Ryan, an eighth grade student in Lake Linden, is a seasoned performer with the Calumet Players. His experience includes: Our Town (Wally Webb), The Sound of Music (Kurt), and Annie Get Your Gun (Little Jake). Ryan also has performed in several Missoula Children's Theatre productions. He is happy to share the stage with his father, David, and sister, Maureen. 
Crowley David Lighting Designer David has designed the lighting for many Player's productions and also for several All-School Musicals. He has appeared as Harold Hill, Billy Bigelow, Henry Higgins, and King Arthur, to name a few. He directed "Our Town" for the Players and is currently Drama Director for Houghton-Portage Township Middle and High Schools. 
Fisher Emily Orchestra: Piano Emily joined the Calumet Players in 1994, playing piano for The Music Man. She has been indispensable to the Players ever since, playing for rehearsals and musical revues, in addition to productions. Emily is a member of the MTU Concert Choir and has played piano for several MTU productions. Emily enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, camping, reading, and traveling. 
Gades Julie Mrs. Paroo Julie Gades (Mrs. Paroo) is making her second visit to River City, having played Ethel Toffelmeir in the 1994 production. Since her first show with the Calumet Players in 1988, she has been onstage for more than twenty musicals, plays, and revues and at the piano for another dozen (including all of the Houghton/Hancock musicals.) Her favorite roles to date include Doris in “The Cemetery Club”, Widow Corney in “Oliver”, Ms. Darbus in “High School Musical” (the 2008 CCISD All-School production), and her all-time favorite, the Mother Superior in “Nunsense”. Julie teaches third grade at Barkell Elementary School in Hancock, sings with the Copper Country Chorale, teaches Sunday School at her church, and is a frequent accompanist at school, church, and community functions. 
Gerbig Rachel River City Band Member Rachel is a Freshman at Lake Linden Hubbell High School. She loves to act, read books, go swimming, Cheerlead and Hang out with her friends. Rachel has been in the following plays. Jack and the Beanstalk (Bean), The wizard of Oz ( mayor of munchkin and flying monkey), Our Town ( Joe the paperboy) The Pied Piper (towns Girl) High School Musical (Cheerleader). 
Goggin Trish Zaneeta Shinn Trish Goggin, a senior at Michigan Tech, is proud to find herself in the company of such a talented group of people. Thanks to her wonderful parents, Trish has been involved in theatre ever since she can remember. Most recently, she appeared in 1776 as Martha Jefferson, and The Robber Bridegroom as the evil stephmother, Salome. Her credits also include directing a production of Greater Tuna and roles in Bye Bye Birdie, Fiddler on the Roof, and Brigadoon. 
Horvath Ralph Olin Britt (Quartet - Bass) Ralph retired from the EE/CE Department at Michigan Tech in 1999. His experience includes roles in: Anatomy of a Murder, The Mousetrap, The Wizard of Oz, The Pajama Game, Equus, Pippen, and South Pacific, to name a few. Ralph enjoys fishing, hunting, and racquetball. (He plays every M-W-F at 7:00 a.m. and is always seeking new opponents!) He and his wife, Constance Sherry, reside in the Baltic Area. 
Huntington Ryan Traveling Salesman #3 Ryan is a Business student at MTU entering into his third year. He is a member of the Troupe and his passion lies somewhere in the broad spectrum of performing arts leaning towards Improvisation. He hopes to someday attend I.O. of Chicago to study Improv, and dreams of one day touring with his own ensemble. 
Jaszczak Ben River City Teen/Dancer The last time Ben Jaszczak was on the Calumet Theatre stage, he fell off a horse (Jane Eyre). Ben's first show with the Players was last season's Annie Get Your Gun. He is a senior a Houghton High School where he is active in the drama club and choir. 
Johnson Andy Marcellus Washburn This is S. Andrew Johnson's first time in a Calumet Players production. He is a current student at Michigan Tech in the Biomedical Engineering department, finishing his degree this May. Andy played Jamie Lockhart in MTU's spring musical, The Robber Bridegroom. He enjoys thunderstorms, late night cooking, and small puppies (as long as they're fluffy). 
Johnson Gareth Tommy Djilas, River City Band Member Gareth Johnson started acting in high school in such roles as Einstein in Arsenic and Old Lace and Wiley in the one-act play Wiley and the Hairy Man. He is also experienced in main roles in community melodramas in Mantorville, MN. His roles in musicals include Huckleberry Finn in Big River and Richard H. Lee in 1776. Gareth is currently a 3rd year student at Michigan Technological University, working towards a B.S. in Enterprise Mechanical Engineering. 
Kangas Nikki "Pick A Little" Lady Nikki has been involved with the Players since 2007, and has performed in a few plays at MTU. Most recently, she appeared as Goat's Mother in "The Robber Bridegroom" at MTU, and as a Super in the Pine Mountain Music Fesitval Opera, "Il Matrimonio Segreto." She lives in Hancock with her husband and two daughters. 
Kauppila Addy "Pick A Little" Lady This is Adelyn Kauppila's second show with the Calumet Players. Last year she was in Annie Get Your Gun. Adelyn is a big fan of Twilight and all things Harry Potter. 
Kauppila Nancy "Pick A Little" Lady Nancy was previously on stage with the Calumet Players in the "Sound of Music" and "Annie Get Your Gun" as well. She is a nurse, and the mother of seven, four of whom are still at home. She sings with the Keweenaw Ecumenical Choir. 
Kauppila Rachel River City Kid Rachel loves writing poetry and being different. Rachel's credits include: Robin Hood, It's a Wonderful Life, The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music (Brigitta), The Little Mermaid, Alice in Wonderland, and Annie Get Your Gun (Jessie). She is in the seventh grade in Calumet. 
Knuuttila Audrey River City Teens/Kids/Dancers Audrey is an 8th grade student at Houghton Middle School where she enjoys band, choir and solo & ensemble. She also enjoys softball, swimming, volleyball, pets, singing and playing the tuba. This is her third Players musical. She has also performed in five Missoula Children’s Theatre Company productions. 
Knuuttila Heidi Alma Hix This is Heidi’s 4th musical with the Calumet Players. She was Sister Margaretta in the Sound of Music and Mrs. Hendrickson in Annie Get Your Gun. Heidi is a teacher at Barkell Elementary and sings with the Copper Country Choral. She lives in South Range with her husband, John, and daughter, Audrey. Heidi loves to travel, play golf and tennis, read and sing. Heidi would like to say a huge thank you to her friend (and craft sensei) Amy Mensch for helping with her costume and deciphering an Edwardian period jabot pattern.  
Lewin Jeff Charlie Cowell, Set Construction Jeff Lewin’s (Charlie Cowell) introduction to theatre was playing Charlie in the Player’s production 15 years ago. Other acting roles include parts in Anatomy of a Murder and South Pacific. Jeff has spent many years as the Player’s sound engineer and serving in other technical departments, including electrician, carpenter, fly loft, stage crew and stage manager and he is currently a Trustee on the Players’ Board of Directors. He is married to Sandy and has two daughters Jennifer and Alayna and a wonderful granddaughter Izabella. 
Lewin Sandra Production Coordinator and Set Coordinator Sandy has been a familiar face with the Calumet Players in the 25 years she’s been active with the group. She has played Tuptim in “The King and I” and was one of the Pick-a-Little Ladies in the 1994 production of “Music Man”. She has also played flute/piccolo in the orchestra pit for numerous productions. In the past few years, Sandy has been back stage with the technical side of our shows doing everything from running the light board, building sets, coordinating scene/set changes and assisting with the sound. She serves on the Players Board of Directors and is the current President. Sandy is married to Jeff and has 2 daughters, Jennifer & Alayna, and a granddaughter, Izabella. She is the newly-hired fundraiser for Omega House in Houghton. 
List Jan Orchestra: Clarinet, Bass Clarinet Jan has been in the Calumet Players' Orchestra since their 1996 production of Brigadoon. She is a member of the Keweenaw Swing Band, the Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra, and was previously involved with a number of musical ensembles in Rochester, MN. In addition to playing clarinet, bass clarinet, and alto sax, Jan is an accomplished organist and plays for St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Laurium, St. John's Lutheran Church in Hubbell, and local organ recitals. 
Maksimchuk Benita Costumes Benita calls herself a "behind the scenes" player, but she is always on the scene -- working on costumes, sets, drops, Players' Building improvements, or whatever is needed. She and her costuming cohorts, Pat Trudell and Nancy Massoglia, worked tirelessly to find repair, clean sew, and alter the costumes of the many characters in The Music Man. Benita works at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital and enjoys quilting. She and her husband, Tom, have two grown children, Jen and Mike. 
Maksimchuk Michael Fly Loft Assistant, Lighting Assistant  
Manderfield Debbie Properties What do a stuffed seagull, a wheelchair, a dog umbrella, guns, a library cart, and a Marilyn Monroe poster all have in common? They are all the responsibility of the Properties Chairperson. Debbie Manderfield has gathered all the furniture, food, curtains, props, and everything else you see on stage that is not nailed down. Deb is on the Players' Board of Directors and has been Treasurer for twenty plus years. She is the accountant at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital and lives in Laurium with her husband, Pete. 
Manderfield Pete Jacey Squires (Quartet - High Tenor) Peter has been a member of the Calumet Players since 1983. Musical credits include: My Fair Lady, South Pacific, Carousel, Camelot, The King and I, Oklahoma, Brigadoon, The Wizard of Oz, and Annie Get Your Gun. Pete continues to sing in a barbershop quartet that began with the Players' first production of The Music Man. He works at Range Bank in Calumet and lives in the Florida Location with his wife Debbie and Springer Spaniel, Penny. 
Mark Bob Constable Locke Bob's experience with the Players includes the productions of Our Town (Editor Webb) and Anatomy of a Murder (Paul Biegler). Bob has also performed with the Clio Cast & Crew, the Frankenmuth Theatre, and Michigan Tech University. Other credits include: To Whom it May Concern, Sunshine Boys, Spoon River Anthology, and Memorandum. Bob's interests include photography and sports cars. He and is wife, Nancy, have three children -- Jacqualine, Philip, and Larry. 
Masimchuk Tom Musical Director Tom Maksimchuk is our Orchestra Conductor. This is Tom's 14th show as a director and 16th as a member of the Calumet Players. He also played the part of Dr. Mathew Smith in "Anatomy of a Murder", and this is his third time to participate in "The Music Man". Tom teaches music at the Public Schools of Calumet and is a musician at the Sacred Heart Church in Calumet. He lives in Calumet with his wife, Benita, and they have two children, Jen and Mike. Tom's hobbies include gardening and genealogy. 
Massoglia Nancy Mrs. Squires, Costumes Nancy is not new to the Players and has been a cast member of Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof, and South Pacific. She is happily married to Dennis, with five children and six grandchildren. She is an RN and is the Education Coordinator for the Houghton County Medical Care Facility. She wishes to thank her family for all their love, support, and encouragement. She also wishes to thank a special teacher and friend, John Lehto, who she gives credit for her love of music and the performing arts. "Hope you enjoy the show!" 
McKellar Marian "Pick A Little" Lady Marian has been with the Calumet Players since 1991. She was Sister Berthe in "Sound of Music," and the rose seller in "Oliver." She lives in Laurium with her husband Mick and 2 of their 4 children, she enjoys bowling, crossword puzzles, and singing. She is cantor at Sacred Heart Church, sings with the Ecumenical Choir, and has performed in numerous PMMF operas. 
McKellar Michael River City Teen/Dancer Michael McKellar is a Theatre & Entertainment Technology major at Michigan Tech. He has been involved with the Calumet Players since 1994 (starting with a previous production of The Music Man) and appeared this past spring in Anatomy of a Murder. He has also performed at Michigan Tech in productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream as Puck and Beyond Therapy as Bruce. He plans on graduating from Michigan Tech this coming spring to pursue a career in stage management. 
McKellar Mick Mayor Shinn, Website Design and Maintenance A board member, Mick directed for Players: Anatomy of a Murder (2009), Mousetrap(2005); and acted with the Players since 1997 in: South Pacific (the Professor), Fiddler on the Roof (Amram the Bookseller), Oliver! (Mr. Bumble), My Fair Lady (Alfie Doolittle), Anything Goes (Sir Evelyn) -- also in Little Shop of Horrors, Camelot, Annie Get Your Gun, and others. He acted with Theatre North in Ironwood and at MTU, and performed with Pine Mountain Music Festival in five operas: (La Traviata, Carmen, Cavaleria Rusticana, Die Fledermaus, and Children of the Keweenaw). Mick lives in Laurium with his wife, Marian and two grown children, Amanda and Michael.

Mooney Ernest Traveling Salesman #2 Ernest is retired after "a long and very interesting career in a number of occupations." He lives with his wife, Bonnie, on the North Shore in Eagle Harbor Township. 
Olkkonen Cianna River City Band Member My dad, Ken Olkkonen, has been with the Calumet Players since its beginning. I've been tagging along with him to Players rehearsals, shows, and meetings since I was a little girl. I am 11 years old and I'm going into 6th grade at Washington Middle School. The Music Man is my first Players production. My mom is Mary Kay and she is a pick-a- little ladie. 
Olkkonen Ken Audio Engineer and Sound Effects Engineer Ken first became involved in theater in 1976 when he answered a newspaper ad looking for help to shoot photos to promote a new production, “The Little Shepherd Boy”, produced by a fledgling theater company called “The Superior Players”. For 12 years he served in the capacity of Technical Director for the Calumet Theatre. He has also been involved in the Calumet Players since its inception having served on the Board of Directors as President, Vice-president, and Trustee. Additionally he has performed on stage in both minor and leading roles. But his main focus throughout the years has been as part of the technical crew serving in many positions both behind and in front of the curtain. 
Olkkonen Mary Kay "Pick A Little" Lady Mary Kay Kaukola-Olkkonen has been a Players member since her appearance as a nun/chorus member in Sound of Music. She has also appeared in My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls, The King and I, and Oklahoma. In addition, she has assisted behind the scenes in doing make-up, painting scenery/drops, operating the spot light, and helping out at the Players Building. In 2001 Mary Kay retired after 30 years of teaching kindergarten for the Public Schools of Calumet-Laurium-Keweenaw. She is married to Ken Olkkonen and they have one daughter, Cianna. 
Perfetti Emily Orchestra: Percussion Emily works at The Print Shop in Houghton, in fact she designed the cover of this program. She has played percussion for many years and was a member of the pit orchestra for the CCISD production of "Seussical the Musical" and the KGB production of "1776". Emily lives in Lake Linden and in her spare time enjoys watching movies, reading, and working out. 
Perfetti Patti Choreographer Although this is Patti's first time as choreographer for the Calumet Players, she is no stranger to dance. Her past experience included choreography for the Miss T.E.E.N. Houghton County Fair Pageant and Chassell's "Friends of Fashion" productions. She has four grown children, two granddaughters, and lives in Chassell with her husband, Vern, and dog, Annie. 
Perfetti Sara Director Sara is the 5th-12th Grade Band Director & 7th-12th Grade Choir Director at Lake Linden-Hubbell High School. She is also the director of the LLHS Drama Club & Student Council Advisor. Over the past 11 years she has been involved in many Calumet Players productions as Vocal Director, Director, and Cast Member. Some of her favorite shows were "Fiddler of the Roof", "Anything Goes", "Nunsense", "The Pajama Game", "The Sound of Music", and "Annie Get Your Gun". She also enjoys kayaking, reading, playing the piano, and collecting antique hats. 
Petrelius Joan M. Vocal Director Working with the Calumet Players this summer has been my first "real" musical experience since retiring from teaching in 2007, and it has been such fun! My musical career started with a K-12 teaching job in Baraga and ended with 25 years at the Chassell Schools teaching band, elementary music & band, Home Economics and Multimedia Computers! I also direct the St. Anne's Catholic Church Choir in Chassell and judge band festivals when needed. Since retiring, I've been busy making mittens and hats for my new venture, "Up North Mittens." In my spare time I love to spend time at our cottage with my husband and walking our two dogs. I truly appreciate the opportunity to work with this wonderful group of people. It's funny how life comes full circle. Tom Maksimchuk was my music teacher, mentor, and a big reason why I became a music teacher. Sara Perfetti was one of my most memorable and wonderful students. How lucky we all are to work together again! 
Pressel Jonathan Newspaper Reader This is Jonathan Pressel's tenth year with the Calumet Players. In addition to performing, he has worked on sets and served on the boards of the Calumet Players and the Calumet Theatre. He divides his time between Calumet, MI, and Cleveland, OH. He is married to Pat and has two daughters. Jonathan enjoys working with his hands, including auto repair, home repair, remodeling, and furniture restoration. 
Racine Dennis Stage Manager, Publicity, Raffle Dennis has been a member of the Calumet Players for twenty-five years. He has appeared in a variety of productions onstage and has worked behind the scenes on lighting, sound, and backstage crews. Dennis has also served on the Player's Board of Directors for twenty-four years, serving as President of the Board six times. Dennis is retired from the State of Michigan Family Independence Agency and is currently the Treasurer of Schoolcraft Township. 
Rundman Hannah River City Teens/Kids/Dancers The Music Man is Hannah's 3rd Calumet Players show, along with The Sound of Music and Annie Get Your Gun. She has also been a part of 2 All School Musicals: Seussical the Musical and High School Musical. She has been in Missoula Children's Shows-The Little Mermaid and Alice in Wonderland. School plays: The Curse of the Cobra's Kiss, Hospital, and Get Smart are other shows that Hannah has been in. She loves music, acting, dancing, singing, swimming, and being with friends. 
Rundman Noble River City Band Member I’m a Freshmen at Jeffers High School. This is my second musical with the Calumet Players. My first musical was The Sound of Music, and I played Friedrich. Some of my hobbies include playing basketball, soccer, and hanging out with friends. 
Sarazin Emma Amaryllis My name is Emma and I am in 5th grade. I have done one play with Ms. Perfetti at my school, Lake Linden-Hubbell Elementry. I enjoy basketball, soccor, reading, and singing. This is my first production with the Calumet Players. I live on the Bootjack Road in Lake Linden with my parents, Todd and Tina Sarazin and my 2 brothers, Christopher, and Matthew. 
Soldan Ted Fly Loft Operations  
Sommerfield Adam Harold Hill, Set Construction Adam Sommerfield is a Dishwasher/College student who hopes to someday graduate and become a history teacher. He has been in numerous productions, most recently 1776 and The Robber Bridegroom. He enjoys theater, philosophy and the KBC's Widowmaker Black. He would like to thank his friends and family for spending their time and hard earned cash to come see him.  
Stadius Maija Maud Dunlop Maija is a second grade teacher at Barkell Elementary in Hancock.She has loved being involved in all aspects of theatre since her first Sunday School pageant. Some of her favorite parts have been Aunt Abby in Arsenic and Old Lace, Mother Superior in Agnes of God, and Mabel in Pajama Game. Maiga sings with the Concert Choir at MTU, having just returned from their Argentina/Chile tour in August 2009. 
Store Heather "Pick A Little" Lady This is Heather's third show performing with the Calumet Players. She was Mrs. Gibbs in "Our Town," and was also in "Annie Get Your Gun." She enjoys sewing, kayaking and going for walks. She works for the Copper Country Great Start Collaborative as the Parent Liaison, working with parent groups throughout Baraga, Houghton and Keweenaw Counties. Heather lives in Calumet with her husband, Kevin, and children, Rylie and Tucker. 
Store Rylie River City Band Member Rylie will enter 7th grade at Washington Middle School this fall. She likes to play soccer and volleyball, and enjoys downhill skiing with the Mount Ripley Race Team. She plays the flute in the school band. This is Rylie's fourth show with the Calumet Players. She was a Munchkin in "The Wizard of Oz," Sy Crowell in "Our Town" and Nellie in "Annie Get Your Gun." She has also performed with three Missoula Children's Theatre Productions. Rylie lives with her parents, Heather and Kevin and brother, Tucker in Calumet. 
Strieter Robb L. Newspaper Reader #2, River City Band Member Robb is 17 years old and is a senior at Dollar Bay High School. This is his second Calumet Players production. He participated in the 2008, all school musical "High School Musical," as well as "Annie Get Your Gun." He is also involved in band, choir, and quiz bowl 
Stubenrauch Corinne River City Kid Corinne is in the eighth grade at Washington Middle School. She has been in two other Calumet Players' productions and three Missoula productions 
Stuempges Josh River City Band Member Josh Stuempges is a sophomore at MTU, majoring in Chemical Engineering. Past theater experience includes four community theater productions, four one-act plays, five musicals, and improvisation with MTU’s Troupe, of which he is currently a member. He has been in just about every role from tech hand to lead, and is greatly enjoying his current part in The Music Man. 
Szilagyi Lillia River City Teens/Kids/Dancers Lillia Szilagyi has been in productions such as: Little Red Riding Hood, The Pied Piper, and The Little Mermaid. This is her first Calumet Players Production. 
Torola Alice River City Kid This is Alice's first Calumet Players production, sharing her debut with her sister Olivia. A fifth grade student at CLK Elementary School, Alice loves to ski, skate, and play soccer. 
Torola Olivia River City Kid Olivia is in seventh grade at Washington Middle School. Olivia enjoys eating ice cream, singing, soccer, and summer. This is Olivia's first Calumet Players' production. 
Trevino Chris Traveling Salesman #1 Chris recently graduated from Lake Linden - Hubbell High School as co-Valedictorian of his class. His current endeavors find him trouncing around with bears while he picks berries and fighting windmill giants with a crazy Spanish gentleman. Chris attends MTU for anthropology and music. 
Trewartha Mollie Marian Paroo, Program Mollie is a fifth grade teacher at Houghton Elementary School. Mollie's credits include: The Sound of Music (Sister Sophia), Annie Get Your Gun (Dolly Tate), and The Robber Bridegroom (Raven). She would like to thank her husband, Dave, for his unending support; her mother, Deb, for the help with meals, lines, and hairstyling; and her colleague and vocal teacher, Ann Campbell, for the weekly lessons and encouragement to embrace her inner-soprano. 
Trudell Pat Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn, Costumes Four years ago, the Copper Country became Pat Trudell's home and she loves it. Her four children live in the south and think their parents are nuts! You've seen Pat on-stage in the Player's production of The Wizard of Oz (Wicked Witch of the West) and Anatomy of a Murder. She and her husband share their home with one inside dog and a feisty parrot. The back yard belongs to their six sled dogs. 
Vertin Eric Orchestra: Trumpet Eric Vertin is a native of Laurium, and graduated from Calumet High School in 2007. He is currently in his third year at Michigan Tech where he is majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and is active in the Superior Wind Symphony, Blue Key Honor Society, and the Chemistry Learning Center, among other groups. He is currently living in Houghton with his two fish, Severus and James. 
Vichich Tom Traveling Salesman #4 Tom has been retired for the past year and a half, and lives in Hancock with his wife Vicky. He was in the cast of the Calumet Player's production of Fiddler on the Roof. Tom sings in his church choir and is active in numerous civic and fraternal organizations. 
Wacker Cal Conductor, Set Construction Cal has focused on improvisational acting for the past four years with Michigan Tech's The Troupe. Prior to coming to Tech and the Keweenaw, he was active on stage and off for productions of: Guys and Dolls, The Laramie Project, Baby with the Bathwater, Godspell, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Fawlty Towers, and Much Ado About Nothing in Hudson, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, and Westport, CT. "After seven years, it feels great to be back on stage with a really great cast and crew. Many thanks to you all!" 
Warsinski Cassi "Pick A Little" Lady Cassi is heading into her second year as a Bio-Medical Engineering Student at MTU. She has been involved with theatre for 13 years, and as a young child she worked backstage in productions at the Calumet Theatre such as “South Pacific” and “Brigadoon.” She is currently a member of the Troupe, an improv group at MTU, and hopes to continue with theatre as a major influence in her life. 
Wichman Cathie Orchestra: Flute This is Cathie's third year with the Calumet Players' Orchestra. She lives in Chassell and has two "amazing" children; Chris who is currently in the Army and Kayleigh who will be a freshman at Michigan Tech this fall. Cathie fills her leisure time with music; her kids, horses and dogs; reading; jogging; crafts; and thoroughly enjoys the great outdoors and traveling.  
Wickstrom Hailey River City Teens/Kids/Dancers Hailey is in 5th grade at CLK Elementary School. This is her third Calumet Players Production. She was a munchkin in the Wizard of Oz, and played Marta in the Sound of Music. Hailey enjoys singing, figure skating, and playing basketball. She lives in Calumet with her parents, Jason and Jennifer, and sisters, Sydney and Olivia.  
Zei Deb Orchestra: Clarinet Debra has played in orchestras for over 25 musical productions, including the Calumet Players’ production of Music Man in both 1984 and 1994. She has also played the clarinet in the Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra for nearly twenty-five years and performs locally with other musical ensembles. She teaches mathematics at Chassell High School and is an adjunct mathematics faculty member at MTU. Debra lives in Houghton with her son Michael Adler.
