1) 2009 – 2010 Home & School Board Members – Welcome to our new board members; keep plugging along to our current board members; and a big Thank You to our outgoing board member, Alice Koziel. We appreciate all of your hard work. The following is our line-up for next year:
President – Kathy Murphy
Vice-President – Rich Almeida
Secretary – Sandee Burnham
Treasurer – Kathleen Currie
Assistant Treasurer – Mary O’Sullivan
WebSite Coordinator – Paul Gordon
Can’t get rid of her – Mary Ellen McCabe
2) Prepaid Lunch Coupons – Last call for volunteers for a program of using prepaid, color-coded lunch coupons for the children to purchase the North Penn lunch. As I have mentioned before, we do need a committee of at least 5 parents to take charge of this project. The responsibilities would include ordering coupon books, selling coupon books, coordinating payments to North Penn for actual lunch purchases, and reconciling money collected for booklets with payments made to North Penn. With a group of 5 parents, these responsibilities should not be too cumbersome, but at this point we have only had one parent step forward. 3) Ladies Volleyball – Thursday nights at 9:00 in the gym. We have set up an e-mail list to coordinate this activity. If you are interested in being placed on this list, send an e-mail to mccabers@verizon.net. |
